Newline Group offers Commercial Crime insurance to protect against losses from criminal activities perpetrated by both employees and third parties such as theft, fraud including social engineering fraud; and embezzlement within a business.
We offer full limit, rather than sub-limited, coverage for social engineering either as a standalone product or combined with a traditional crime policy.

We can consider a very wide range of business activities and territories, including the USA. However, we do not have appetite for the following categories of business:
- High-value goods e.g. precious metals, jewellery, luxury cars, designer fashion etc.
- Primary policies in Latin America. We attach at a minimum excess of USD 1.0M
- Primary policies for professional services companies e.g. law firms, accountants but we can consider these excess of a minimum of USD 1.0M
- Businesses with 5 employees or fewer
- Telecommunications companies
- Security Companies
- Armoured Motor Vehicles
Aside from these activities we are willing and able to consider a wide range of risks across a broad spectrum of territories.
COMMON QUESTIONS
We do not write Commercial Crime in Mexico, Colombia or Egypt.
Aside from these specific examples and territories where we are prohibited from writing business, we are willing and able to consider a wide range of different territories and consider each risk and territory on a case-by-case basis.
